We leave Malaysia with a heavy heart. Although it was not our first destination on this adventure, after nearly 8 weeks its become like a home, maybe when you are away from your real home for so long you grasp at straws to try and piece together some kind of place to call your own. Malaysia became that, our nest, our comfort and to say goodbye to all the people and memories we had made on the perhaps the biggest adventure of our lives so far came with mixed emotions.
We rounded up the Mainland by ticking off Kuala Lumpur, The Cameron Highlands, Langkawi and once again back to Penang. Of course there is still much more to explore and if we had more time and much more money their is some more islands of the eastern coast that we would be right now laid back in a hammock mispronouncing our order of a second round of watermelon juices!
It was a nice end, we spent our last day with the place that touched us the most, Cocoa Mews. Seeing our friends once again was a beautiful farewell. Especially as it was one of their birthdays on that evening so we were able to join in the celebrations.
Now, Indonesia awaits.
